My Services and Advice

Most of you will have been recommended by colleagues of the companies I work for. This site has been created to help you find that special diamond for your loved ones.  I would appreciate you only using this information for yourself as a tool.

When buying a diamond, I advise to always go for a very good, excellent or triple xxx finish cut stone and a mid-quality and colour; F-H colour and Vs quality. You’ll get a very white and good quality diamond which will not show impurities with the naked eye at a reasonable price.

Investment wise unless you go for larger sizes, top colours and quality and especially natural fancy coloured diamonds they can be very difficult to resell. Most diamond investors will go for natural fancy diamonds as this has had incredible gains and is forecasted to carry on for the foreseeable future.

If you need further advice or help find that special stone I am available and will look at the best deal I can find for your budget on the Antwerp market. I would firstly recommend that with the information I have supplied that you use it as a guide to look around local jewellery shops and make sure you see the certificate of the stone you like to assure you of the exact weight clarity colour shape and grade of cut as well as fluorescence. With this information, it will be a lot easier to compare stones like for like.

As a member of the Antwerp diamond bourse I am well connected to help you find diamonds directly from the Antwerp market which is still the main diamond hub in the world where 80% of all diamonds pass through. I can compare stones that you are looking for on the market to reassure you before you purchase. I can also look for special stones such as fancy or particularly large diamonds which may be difficult to find in normal jewellery shops.

For further information email me on tristandav@aol.com. It usually takes 24 hrs for me to respond depending on my traveling schedule and connection. It is however important to know that I would only be able to help you locate the loose polished stones which you would then need to set through your local setter or can recommend setters for you to use directly. Usually most setters can make any ring you like as long as you have a picture and ring size of the ring you want made.
